Consignment vs. Thrift

What exactly is consignment? Why consign? Over the years, we have surveyed brides and 90% of the them believed the word meant used. At Urban Bride Inc, 80% of our consignment products are consigned directly from bridal boutiques. In all actuality consignment means third party owned it doesn't have to be a used product. Some overstock consignment is not even put on a sales floor before it arrives at our store.
